Gavin and Mick are fantastic instructors — you can tell their experience the moment they start training you. They keep things super fun while making sure you understand everything that’s important. What stood out most was the way they guide you on the road — they share really valuable tips that genuinely boost your confidence. Background: I did my IBT in 2018 (different IBT instructor) and at the time all I wanted to do was ride a classic Vespa. Tried to do my test on that but it had no indicators. I then bought a Royal Alloy automatic TG300 and attempted to do my test on that but it turns out it was not in the A2 category and I as too powerful for A1. This is where Gavin comes in. I didn’t ride a manual bike since 2018 but with Gavin’s calm, cool and collective personality he made me feel comfortable being back on a more powerful manual bike. I did one pre test with Gavin and I then did another hour before the actual test. Delighted to say I passed. 100% recommend Gavin for IBT, pre-tests etc. top man.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Gavin and Mick were so easy to learn under with patients and trust. I was made feel so relaxed and still go through all bike sizes easily because of their trust. I also did my pre test with Gavin and with his tuition and meticulous training I passed first time. Mick, Gav and Lucy combine a relaxed atmosphere with all of the information to go through the IBT process and to go on and pass the motorcycle test. I went to Gavin and Mick for my IBT originally and recently for my full license pre-test. Both times the quality and customer service was top-notch. I got my license on my first attempt and it was due to the invaluable insights/training I got from them. Can't recommend Ride Your Bike enough. I was very satisfied with Gavins teaching method, tips and advice that I went for my Cat A test soon after and passed first time! - (Just passed my IBT 5 months ago) I can highly recommend Gavin if you want to be fully prepared for the test or expand your skills as a rider. Instructors Team is highly profesional but also very friendly, They are able to highlight all the mistakes you make and correct them. Pre test before an exam !
